The Methods
Each Cognitive Engineering method has been organized into one of five primary categories: I. Modeling Cognitive Processes, II. Modeling Behavioral Processes, III. Describing Cognitive and Behavioral Activities, IV. Modeling Erroneous Actions, and V. Modeling Human-Machine Systems. While some methods overlap multiple categories, each method is assigned to a "primary" category.
